Holiday packages

Quinta da Ferraria offers you holiday packages of 3 or 5 days, starting in the end of May until the end of November.
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed stay in the hotel of our farm and to spend time among our Pure Bred Lusitano horses.

We have an optional program ready for you to spend half a day in the farm and half a day outside of the farm visiting monasteries, beaches, churches, medieval villages, museums. Our region possesses many cultural treasures that are absolutely worth visiting!!


It will be an amazing experience to discover different sides of Portugal and to get acquainted with our horses.

Our team would love to give you a warm welcome in the farm to spend some unforgettable days with our horses in Portugal!!		   Working students

Quinta da Ferraria created really good conditions to receive working students.
The work contains assisting in the daily work of a modern Lusitano Stud farm.

This includes:
• The training of the horses, with a classical approach, based on lightness.
• Taking care of the tack.
• Helping to keep the facilities clean.
• Assisting the work of the reproduction.

It’s not mucking out all day, or doing physically heavy work. The working students enjoy a free stay in our hotel and use of the swimming pool. They will be supervised by Angelique Hofman. We work 6 days a week. We accept maximum 2 working students at a time, during a minimum time of three weeks.
This is a great opportunity to learn and work inside a high quality farm, under amazing conditions and in a good team!! An unforgettable experience in Portugal with Lusitano horses!!
