Quinta da Ferraria (former Meneses Stud farm), located in central Portugal, specialises in the breeding of Lusitano purebred horses. The stud was founded in 2000, on the basis of the finest Quina, Veiga and Andrade bloodlines.

Combining purebred excellence with the most adequate infrastructures and facilities, Quinta da Ferraria breeds morphologically precise, functional, aesthetically superb animals.

Sold on both domestic and international markets, Quinta da Ferraria’s Lusitano horses are highly exquisite specimens of unquestionable purity.

The current stud encompasses an area of 100 hectares, with indoor and outdoor riding arenas, in which exhibitions of several breed specimens are often organised, providing our guests with exhibitions of the greatest charm and quality.
